Looking for a late model 6'er

Post by Ericjump »

I'm a long time BMWCCA member but now looking for my first Shark, any advise would be welcomed! I'm in South Carolina, all the 635's I seen seem to be out west or up north, anybody that has one for sale, or knows of any for sale near me PLEASE let me know! I'm a aircraft mechanic so getting hands dirty doesn't scare me just don't want to get in over my head, you know what I mean.
Thanks, Eric

Hi Eric,

Not sure if you consider St Louis "up north" but here is a link to my Shark that is for sale.

Let me know if you have questions.

Hey Eric,
I just cleaned up my ‘87 635csi this weekend as I need to move it soon. I just uploaded the photos and videos here…

Take a look at it. A few small projects but runs every day.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom, where did those seats come from? Where they hard to install? Are they offset from the pedals/wheels?

Hey Marc,

They are Corbeau A4 Racing Seats, front reclining. We used the standard 635 seat mounts and added some aluminum mounting rails to adapt the A4 seats. Riding position is same as stock, even in the overall seat height. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable even on a long haul.

These are about 10 years old and I believe they are still available at a very reasonable cost.

Good Luck,
