I have both fronts, and all the plastic sections are sound, although the left side in particular would need a bit more than a light rub down before paint. Also, the internal metal sections are heavily corroded to the point where it might take a bit or ingenuity and improvisation to make them do their intended job.
Also, interestingly, they have, respectively left and right, the numbers 51.11-1971 806.9 and 51.11-1971 805.9 moulded into the plastic. But neither of these numbers seem to be recognised by OEM. Is it possible that they are for a different model altogether? When I bought them I'm certain they were described as for an E24.
I've been close on a few occasions to throwing them out, so they would be foc to anyone than could make use of them.
I'll sort some pics and add to this post shortly.
