Preferences:
- Euro or world bumper (88-89)
- 5 speed
- Mostly rust free
- Good mechanical/driving condition
- Open to colors, but prefer black, blues, greys, red

Shoot me a message if you have something or text me at (818) 324-3275. I’m in Utah, but can fly or drive for the right car. Cash in hand, ready to buy.

I have the car you are searching for. 1986 635CSi euro that I purchased from a fellow BMWCCAer out of Tuscon. Original owner was an Army officer who purchased it new while stationed in Abu Dhabi and owned it until his death a couple of years ago. Guy I bought it from bought it from the estate of the original owner, kept it for less than a year and then sold it to me. Pretty cool story. Still has BMW stickers in Arabic in the door jamb.

White/blue highland plaid comforts. Cosmetically and mechanically restored. No rust, obviously. Miraculously, no dash cracks - which tells me that it was garaged its entire life. Everything works. 185K, but obtained a lower-mileage motor (hi-comp) from a guy here on the board and proceeded with head/valve work, new timing chain components, etc. from the best BMW shop in the southeast. I am thinking about putting it on BAT but would entertain an offer.

Alpina wheels w/new Michelins, steering wheel and gear shift knob. Including the Alpina stuff, I've probably got $35K in the car, but acknowledge that I will never get that sort of money out of it. Price will be considerably higher than your budget, but it is ALWAYS smart to stretch and buy the best car you can find, where the other guy "invested" the money in it. Would take less for the car if I put the original parts back on and kept the Alpina bits.

Let me know if you are interested and I can provide details. There's a thread around the board and on the mye28 board re: the car, if you want to search under my board name.

Regards,
Mike
