Parting 1988 635csiA

Post by mooseheadm5 »

Just picked it up hoping to rehab it, but have since found terminal rust. Silver with grey interior. Air dam is broken but available if you feel like repairing it.

Interior is in very good shape, but has been sitting, so we will need to clean the car out and clean the interior before sending anything out. Would prefer to sell the interior as a set.

RF fender in decent shape, as are the doors, hood, and deck lid. Everything else has rust.

I will list some individual parts of interest below as I remove them from the car and will make notes as they sell.

New Hella (OE) turn signal lenses, $50 each, shipped or $90 for the pair.

Ellipsoids, will ship with wiring harness. I have to assess any tab damage before pricing, but the lenses are good.

Reman driveshaft for 4HP22. $150 plus shipping

Complete stripe kit NIB. Pics and price to come.

Short bumper plastic set. Some repainting, but all in usable shape. Rear bumper has a small crack in the rear right corner, but can be TIGed.

Let me know if you have any specific requests. No pics till after Sandy buggers off.

Thank you for the kind thoughts. We missed most of the bad storm.

I will check on the floor mats when I get a chance, probably this weekend.

I'll check on shipping the air dam. Since it's broken, I won't need to get much for it, but mostly have to charge for packing and shipping.

I believe that I may have a complete set of mounting brackets in addition to the ones mounted to the car if you just need those.

Was interested in front air dam.
But I am looking for one piece of it.
Do either of you have the piece that
goes beside the drivers fog light?
Color does not matter. It's the only
thing that's missing on my car.

John,

See attached pic of car, I think they refer to part as "Covering"
I hit a snow bank and blew the spoiler into five pieces.
Lots of epoxy and some plastic reinforcement, it's back together.
Just lost that one part, even went back in spring to find it.
Must be in someones collection of trinkets.
Let me know what you want for it.

K,

I am waiting on some pics of this spoiler I am looking at buying, if it has both "covers" I have the one on my old one you are needing. If I can strike a deal with the member that has it I will give you the one I have, it will need painting though as mine is gun metal blue.

Regards,
John

Does your car have the full leather interior??? If so, and you can't find a buyer for all, thereare a few pieces I could use. The b-pillar on drivers side, the rear cooler cover and the sunroof inside leather.
Thanks, let me know...Andy

Would it be possible to ship international?

If so I would be interested in the the ellipsoids (or really just the right one if possible) and, if possible, the speaker pods.

Let me know! Thanks!!

I started posting some pictures here:

https://picasaweb.google.com/1019692385 ... directlink

Some of the pics from that are some E32 parts.

I can ship international. I use flat rate boxes to keep the pricing down.

how much for the pair of ellipsoids? also are parting out any engine parts?

Sorry to keep everyone waiting. The garage is currently full of an E32 I'm getting ready to scrap.

I'll be working on the car this weekend, hopefully, so I'll take pictures of everything and see if there are enough people interested in parting out the interior to make it worthwhile to sell separately.

I do have an M30B35 for parts as well.

Bringing this post back from the dead. My wife needed ACL reconstruction surgery which seriously delayed this effort.

picture link

Everything in those pictures is available. Car has extended leather. I pulled the vinyl headliner by pulling the glass from the car. Everything is in pretty darn good shape.

Motor is also available, but I did not try to run it due to a rodent chewed harness. Car also has ellipsoids. Rear deck has sunshade. Rear bumper is present but cracked. Front bumper is really corroded under the trim. Air dam is cracked and missing fogs. Nose panel is dented but repairable if yours is trashed. Tails are crap. Late bumper trim is in OK shape. Hood is in decent shape.

Most body panels are rusty. Driver door handle hardware is gone. Many pieces of exterior trim are gone. Rear AC parts are spoken for, but the console is available. Rear seats are gone. Rear window motors are gone. Dash is gone. AC controls are gone. Exhaust is spoken for. Diff is spoken for.

I will cut any steel off the car you need, but a lot of this car has rust.

I've got people already interested in the front seats and the rear are gone, but if you want the remaining interior as a whole, let me know and I'll go through and verify what I have left.

Do you still have:
1. ellipsoids
2. fog lamps
3. header panel (with kidney grilles)
4. automatic shit handle
5. deck lid spoiler in decent shape
and if so how much are you looking to have for them plus shipping to Austin?

Spoiler part

Post by Kelowna635 »

Hi,

Talked to you last fall about that part for my front spoiler.
Just go to first posts on this thread, it will jog your mind, LOL.
I am also in need of a couple of sockets for brake lamps, needs
to have about 3" or more wire attached.

1) Yes, $200 shipped in the US
2) No, they were gone when I got the car
3) Yes, but it is a little bent and so are the kidneys
4) I'll check
5) Nope

Put it aside for you if you are still interested, but it isn't in great shape as noted before (but may be salvageable.)

Can probably help with the lamps.
