To be fair to the seller, he's had it MOT'd - so good luck to him. At the present amount bid (£10,005 with 33 bids and more than a day to go) it looks like he'll ring the bell on this!
Are you tempted, Ron, now you will have a little room on your drive (and money burning a hole in your pocket

No balance issues with this Volkswagen V5, rather a nice engine actually.

i doubt its a genuine bid, but i'd genuinely give £2000 for it. i did make that offer to the last seller a few years back
as tragic as it is it needs to be restored & preserved as an example of 80's excess

Well, it reached £11,005 but reserve was not reached. So, it didn't sell and the guy is going to keep it and restore it himself!
Wait a minute, he's
relisted it
................and read his revised description, it has......"BOSH Moronic electronic fuel injection system"

I could buy one of these last year in France, it was without the wheels but apart from that was complete. I checked it for around 2 hours and for me it was BEYOND saving unless you'd like to get rid of the body kit. This one looks exactly the same...
Shell bidding on this auction is a joke.

No, ended as in...............ended (it was only a 3-day auction).
Let's see if it emerges again soon. Since it didn't reach reserve last time at £11,005 I can't see him letting it go for barely half that sum, can you

Ha ha! Failed to reach reserve again at £4500. Interesting to compare the bids made in the three most recent auctions - not that I'm saying anything.....................
So, will the seller try (yet) again, or restore it himself as he's been threatening to do
The "Boomerang" is continuing to live up to its name!
