Pretty much all parts are here except front end body pieces and cylinder head. Front bumper is there though. Automatic transmission.

What is the interior like? Manual Comfort seats, color carpet condition, is the dash cracked etc.

I am restoring a 77 630CSi just wondering if it would be better to purchase good conditioned parts rather than recovering all the seats.

Thanks,

Zieg

The dash isn't great, has some small cracks but appears to be sold. The seats are manual comfort tan, and are in great shape. The drivers seat is a little brighter as it was retanned at some point. The carpet is gone as well but I do have the rest if the interior that matches the seats, (door panels, glove box) and some old floor mats that are tan and in ok shape.

Plastic covers on seat mechs

Post by rlane97 »

What color are the covers on the seat mechanicals? Are they cracked? One of mine is mocha and good, one is cracked and the other two are black. Looking to go all mocha or tan.

Do you have the foam sound insulation piece that goes between the pedals and the steering column? (Crappy blown up realoem diagram attached.)

Seat mechanical covers are black and not in good shape. I can check on that bit of sound deadening but it's safe to assume that something that small got thrown away during the carpet removal and whatnot.

Sending the hull to the salvage yard by the end of the month. After that interior bits will be all that remain.

just thought I'd throw some prices out:

Front seats-$275

Rear seats w/ center console-$225

Dash w/few small cracks-$125

Door cards (front+rear)-$150

Gas tank-$125

Instrument cluster-$50

Driveshaft-$100

All prices are OBO so dont be afraid to ask! Still have some other pieces but most will be scrapped along with the car.

Will the oil filter housing be available. I need that old fat/large style as mine has been damaged.

Feel free to email if that's more convenient: [email protected]

Just a few things extra that i pulled off the car, the steering box, calipers, and the A/C blower motor. I have been talking to Carl about meeting up with him to do a deal on these, but i haven't heard back from him in a while. Assuming the deal falls through these items will be up for sale since theyre already off the car. PM me if interested in anything. All previous parts I listed are still for sale.

I know you said the body was scrapped, but I will ask anyway. Do you have the passenger door available?
