The trunk is in excellent shape for being used.
My original car only had 72,000 miles on it. The engine blew in 1991 and it has been sitting in my garage ever since. I always thought I was going to restore it. Turns out I won't.
I bought this trunk from a guy in California in 1992. It is in better shape than my original trunk.
Trunk is solid. There is just one small chip in the paint, smaller than 1mm by 1mm.
Rust is just surface rust. You would have no problems power brushing that off and repainting it as needed.
Has never been disassembled.
Email if you have any questions.
I tried selling it on craigslist for $700. No luck. I think $400 sounds like a reasonable offer. Feel free to suggest otherwise...
The RED trunk is for sale. Yes, it is sitting atop my old silver trunk.
The striping on it is from the factory, and it means that the car has the optional LSD in it. You had to get the LSD to get the pinstriping on the spoiler.

Where did you get this information from? I'm not questioning it, just interested.Pittsburgh635 wrote: The striping on it is from the factory, and it means that the car has the optional LSD in it. You had to get the LSD to get the pinstriping on the spoiler.
