Post by orlando »

This car was sold at the 2015 SHANNONS SYDNEY SPRING CLASSIC AUCTION, it looks good in the pictures, no details of mileage though.

This is about 22570 British Pounds, $34235 USA dollars at today's exchange rate.

This is good news for owners in Oz. I reckon Baders will be pretty happy with the value for money Locutus plus the S38 is giving him.

Someone must have pulled the seats as, according to the build sheet, it was originally fitted with sports seats.

Nice looking car.

There are the two schools of thought here of course. The "exclusivity" of the factory built M635 chassis. Any purchase in this area considers the hopeful future rise in value and the beauty of owning 1 in 524 (RHD) ever made, and substantially less now.

The second view is the "built not bought" philosophy. As it turned out for me, this was my only practical option. To build something that will outperform the factory issue is also something special. I did exactly this with my supercharged Toyota Prado, and doing again with LOCUTUS. There is pride here in creating something special, every bit as good as owning 1 in 524.
