Just starting to part 81 Euro, 635 CSI

Post by peter Coomaraswamy »

I have no clue what this stuff is worth to the Big Coupe folks, so since this is not an auction I will list a price of 20 bucks (plus shipping) for everything in the picture below but really I would like members to tell me if there is any value in me pulling this stuff off, cleaning it up and posting. If so, I will make an effort to get much better pictures and point out any flaws.

Thanks! Peter

Would 10.00 plus postage be too much for this trim piece? Just trying to get an idea of what's useful before I start pulling everything off the car and I'm trying to post detailed shots so people can see any flaws. This has a little sun rash on it.

I'd say that's a perfectly fine price for belt line trim.

Take some overall shots of the car and people will typically request items they see from the photos.

I am in need of the shifter surround and leather cover, but maybe you are using that item when you swap it into your E9?

I need the rubber pieces that go in front of the rear bumper for my 1980 euro. The bumper extensions I guess they are called. Please post a pix if possible. Thx.

Wilco, I think I have them in very good condition but will have to check. I removed the entire interior including a 100% complete electric harness, most seat parts are trashed so 69, I don't have anything in the way of seats. They are not the "sport" versions and I think they may be good for some of the hardware only :-(

trunk with toolbox, spoiler etc- *SOLD*

Post by peter Coomaraswamy »

Hi Guys, I have a bunch of stuff off the car- for those who are waiting for specific parts- please hold on I'm still working through the mess. I have ready to ship a full trunk including everything, tool box (with most of the tools) spoiler, with some imperfections, hinges, elephant skin... bla, bla, bla.

Asking 350.00 + shipping, but I can get really reasonable rated through my warehouse.

Also, rear deck lid- interior. the topside is trashed but the piece itself is in very good condition, will need to be re-finished 60.00 + shipping.

Door pads

Post by peter Coomaraswamy »

Not sure of the proper name for these, sorry if I posted them at the beginning, but thought they might be better as a set. There is a very small crack by the blue piece of tape otherwise they are in very good condition, 40.00 for the set?

I'm going to try to post some free stuff later today

free parts

Post by peter Coomaraswamy »

As promised, a couple of free parts, the visors will incur about 6.00 in shipping but other than that a donation to the site would work. I can send the dash cover for about 3 bucks,it's in perfect shape just needs to be cleaned- no stains or tears

shipping

Post by peter Coomaraswamy »

Just an FYI, I am shipping a steering wheel from Texas to CA for 8.00 if that gives members any idea of the shipping charges. I use my discounted rates (fed-ex ground) and round up to the dollar- that's all. I use really good boxes and stuff the heck out of them with bubble wrap etc as I have tons of that stuff in the warehouse. You folks can always ask questions- I can use a collect account if you want me to- whatever I can do to help.

Thanks again, and please look for the free stuff- I'll have more of that as I move along :-)

free parts

Post by peter Coomaraswamy »

In the e9 world the trunk sides are hard to come by, that may not be the case with the e24 but if anyone wants this it's yours for the asking, probably costs 3 bucks to ship. It may clean up??

rear seats-good starting place

Post by peter Coomaraswamy »

OK, not auctioning :-) These seats are tired, they could clean up but still would be weak in some areas with a couple of punctures in the leather. They are bulky but could probably fit in a couple of boxes. My shipping estimate is 60.00- does anyone want to make an offer knowing how much they cost to ship? I hope this is OK to post like this I just have no idea what to list them at. As Jerry Garcia said "one man gathers what another man spills"
