1984 BMW 633csi 5speed low miles!

Post by Joeysgrest98 »

1984 Bmw 633csi

VIN: Upon Request
condition: excellent
cylinders: 6 cylinders
drive: rwd
fuel: gas
odometer: 95000
title status: clean
transmission: manual
type: coupe

I have for sale a classic 1984 2 door 5speed 633csi with just under 100k miles!
Mechanically? It's incredibly reliable. The car runs and drives flawlessly, starts every time and has been well taken care of. It was garaged for most of its life by the previous owner and it shows.
The interior is in near perfect condition and it is very clean. The paint is starting to fade slightly on the top half of the car and could use a touch up to bring it back to life.
Original TRX metric wheels!
Tires have TONS of tread left.

If you're not sold already come take it for a spin. The power will more than likely surprise you.

It'd be very helpful to potential buyers if you listed YOUR LOCATION.

From the look of that front plate, I'm gonna take a guess that he's in Wyoming. But yeah, it'd be a darn sight easier to go look at the car if'n we knew where to start the search.

I've got the same vintage car (VIN6997510) but can someone shoot a closeup of the wheels? I don't know how TRX wheels are marked. Mine look the same but I don't think they are TRX.

Ken,

What size are the tyres (tires) marked. If TRX, will be .....390 or .....415.

Ken yours probably has the 14 x 6.5" "TRX Style" wheels. Mine does and its an 84 633. They have the style, but fit a 205/70 R14 tire. You can also run a 195/70 R14 on them (what I am currently running while I save up for another set of 16" summer tires).

The wheels are marked 6-1/2J x 14H2 BMW22. The winter tires (haven't used them ever) are Michelin X FR78-14 M&S.
Am having a problem with one tire that the tire place said is "corrosion on the bead". Although they said they fixed it, the problem (3 weeks later) is now worse than ever. Tomorrow I will take it back to see if maybe they overlooked a bad valve or maybe a leaking plug (I don't know if that tire has ever been plugged)

There is a decent german wheel identification site: http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com that tells me they are ET22

So I don't think they are TRX as the tires aren't metric.

Merry Christmas and Happy Motoring into the New Year.
