Interesting removal process #-o

You might want to consider adding the mileage if known and potential condition, surely you will be asked these questions :-?

I guess that's an expedient way to remove a third member, but it bothers me they couldn't take time to simply unbolt the axles at the output flanges.

The car was sent to the scrap yard, this was the last good part on it and i asked them to remove it for me to save the hassle of pulling it into my shop. Had i known they would have torched it out I would have just done it myself!!!!

Domenicv?

Have you done any of the things I suggested when you posted this on the fb E24 page? Those suggestions were from Ralph, who sells a TON of parts here. Oddly enough, I can't find that post with the fb picture you put up. Anyway, they are, clean it up, verify that it doesn't grind. Change the seals & fluid and IF it's an LSD it's worth a nice chunk of change. Is it an open or an LSD? Makes a BIG difference to any potential buyer.
