*The chrome around both rear tail light lenses is cracking and crumbling. (see detailed image above) BMW OEM replacement lenses are available for $150 or so.
*Small bit of rust along the left underside of the below the left door (but not on the door). This rust does not go through the body, but should be fixed before the issue continues.
*Another small bit of rusting on the left rear quarter panel (again, not through the body, but needs fixed), just in front of the left rear tire.


Tip of the iceberg, I'm afraid. I'd be very careful about this one.

Well said, Dean. That car could be a great buy, or a nightmare if it's as rusty as the telltale signs point to.

My thoughts exactly.......my favorite color, ......my favorite year....... but could be a nightmare...so tempting...... plus 234k miles is starting to get up there....never checked into it, but I would imagine an M engine overhaul will not be cheap....
