Power seat switch decals (Installation Guide now posted)

Post by MFEuro »

How many members would like to see power seat switch decals made? I am relatively new to this forum & would like to connect with members to organize a pre-order group-buy.

Although new here, I do have experience organizing group-buys for 2002 & e9 BMW's with great success-- hopefully some of that carries over.

More information can be found in the instruction booklet here:

https://issuu.com/mofaraz/docs/power_seat

Please let me know if you would be willing to be part of a pre-order group-buy to get them made for your e24.

Thanks to all members,

Mo Faraz

Important notes:

Price for 2x decal(s) (L&R) will be $20 including tracked shipping:

The cons:

1) Transfer decals take time to install & you need to read instructions
2) A clear-coat is highly recommended

The pros:

1) Excellent graphics (looks 100% original)
2) Easy to install (whilst taking your time)

Production time is only 1-week so these can be ready as soon as a minimum number of owners express serious interest.

Re: Power seat switch decals (Arrived!)

Post by MFEuro »

Decals have arrived & I am very happy with the results. I will be creating an installation thread showing how to attach each of the 3 sections + the final product.

If you are interested in buying a pair, PM me for PayPal.

Thanks,

Mo

My DIY installation guide w/pictures: To buy a set of decals, please PM me & we can arrange payment + shipping

Notes:

- I used brake fluid to remove remnants of old paint (works great & is safe on plastic parts)
- Use lots of time & caution when applying decals (one wrong step & they may get damaged)
- The process is simple: center graphic, rub down, remove sheet, clear-coat (optional but recommended)

Please feel free to ask me questions anytime,

-Mo

Sounds great. My PayPal is: [email protected] ($20 including international shipping)

You will receive from me email confirmation of payment + shipment tracking # (it usually takes 7-10 days to arrive to Australia)

Feel free to ask me questions,

A small note regarding the top & bottom button graphics:

'I transferred the decal as 1-unit across the button gaps....then used a very sharp x-acto to slowly cut the separation.'

It works as long as your blade is sharp. I used a folded piece of paper to fold-in the edge-- a couple of passes and the results are as pictured.

I have a few sets with defects to sell. These will be sold as a set of (4) & there is enough decals to complete 1 pair of seat buttons.

$12 + shipping if anyone here is interested.

PM to discuss,

Mo

Still selling these. PM me if interested in buying one.

I will also be getting very few seat memory decals if anyone wants one (STOP 1-2-3) type.

Those look very original, nice job.

Now all you need is to do is have new Horsehair Brushes installed, in the console.

Thanks Jay,
