FS - UK RHD M635CSi #226
I'm guessing that this UK M635CSi listed on eBay is either number 226 or 257, but either way it needs more than a little work.

In light of some of the bigger numbers that have been floating around in recent months, it'll be interesting to see what price an example in this condition will fetch.

I was just going to post exactly the same as you! Next time I will check the forum first
Certainly a very banged-up motor, but already bid to £5,200
Less than 45 minutes drive from me but I won't be bidding. However, as usual, I'm watching with interest!

Funny old World isn’t it? Currently bid to £9,651. A total wreck as far as I can see and only fit for a re-shell (watch for a reborn car next year!). Yet the (admittedly) high-mileage one fetched less than £15k just a few days ago
Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #226 or #257???
It's #226 (it's got A/C which #257 didn't have).
Sold for £10,052!!
They are ALWAYS rustier than you thought!!!!!!

Well spotted, Ron.
I think the vendor has done extremely well in getting £10k for that car in that condition. As Pod points out above, better cars with less mileage, more history and in superior condition have sold recently for circa £15k. Personally, I would have swerved this one and spent another five grand on a better starting point, but then I don't have the skills or facilities to tackle this type of thing. I wonder if the new owner has?

Here we go. Resisted @ start price £9,995 but now not available. Is this going the way of the “Boomerang” Koenig? I wouldn’t be surprised!

Is it my eyesight, or is there frontal damage as well? Has anybody been to look at it?
Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #226 or #257???
I am no expert admittedly, can't see what could be done with that car .. at that mileage the engine must be tired.. the body is bent and the interior is battered.
Unless the values of the M's go up into late 10's of thousands it would never be economical to repair such a car surely?

Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #226 or #257???
That's exactly what will happen with this car .
I'd be the last person to condemn a car that could be restored but the large amount of damaged , missing and worn parts on that car render it a parts doner or re shell car .
As Pod says , it'll be back some time in the future .

It's back!
Advertised by a dealer in the West Midlands, but viewable in Canvey Island (not far from where it was originally sited). Same photos lead me to believe it is the same, or a connected seller.
Still a re-shell only proposition IMO, but now the asking price is £16,650

And to think I was able to buy a lovely straight none-accident M6 for just £2,350.00 all those years ago.
Just needed a new alternator, starter motor and leads to get running again.
What's going on with these prices!!!!!!!
