Hello everyone - I just saw this on Australia's Shannons Auctions website

Yep - 80,000 Australian dollars. Very nice car. Certainly puts it way ahead of prices for regular E24s here, which tend to range between $10K-$30K.

I just had a look though, there are a handful of M E24s on local carsales websites asking similar prices, which surprised me - I didn't realise they were commanding such high dollars here.

Those 3 cars have been on the market for a while, now a fourth.I'd not seen one come up here for a long time. Owners thinking it time to cash in no doubt.

Agreed. And it looks like a similar situation with the regular E24s on there. They're all at the top end of that $10K-$30K figure I mentioned. Much more than I expected.

I woulda thought I'd be lucky to get half that for my car. I've got more ks than most of those ones do, but not double! Plus mine's a beautiful brown colour.
