Hood Shock Strut 51 23 1 869 147 (sort of free)

Post by TN_M6 »

Also Stabilus SG302003. I bought what they had in the catalogue for my M6 (one each) some time back without looking at my car only to realize mine uses the newer style on both sides. Sorry no picture but if you need one for your non-M 6er or for the M with mismatched ones, this is the longer one. Still brand new in package and I figure I'll never have a use for it.

If you are in the lower 48 I'll send it for a $20 donation to this site and I'll pay the shipping. Same price you would buy one on-line and it's a loose/loose for me (wrong part/more shipping) but Win for this fine site and you.

Thanks,

Done. Unless someone else already donated and has contacted you, I'll PM you an address. If it's already gone, I have been meaning to donate anyway.

You are the first... Gold Medal... Hah. I guess you are on your honor to make the donation. "No doping I hope"

I see your PM with address and I will try to ship it tomorrow. I wonder if I just passed you last weekend as we went down through Alabama to Pensacola to visit our son at NAS and some old friends that spend the winter down there.

And if there is any problem with this we'll work something out.

Best,

You were within 10 miles of me if you came down I-10! Wish I'd have known.

Screen shot of donation confirmation attached. No doping. :D

I just checked tracking #... Should be on your front porch when you get home today! Hope it's OK and what you need.

We came down I-65 then 29? into Pensacola. We took our son over to Foley & Lambert's Café one evening and then I think we were close. We did Lambert's long time ago when kids were little on family vacation to Gulf Shore's area and it became one of his all time favorites. When he was a little kid he couldn't believe they throw rolls across the room to you.

Ah, you were still just 10 miles from me. Foley is SSE of us. My daughter works down there, in the Tanger Outlet Mall, a couple blocks south of Lamberts.

Indeed, the strut was on the porch. Many thanks!
