E24 auto sells for £9,350 at CCA

Post by Pod »

With 90k on the clock, this 1988 car with some recent expenditure (but nothing outrageous) and TEN former owners! I think that this sale gives us a good idea of genuine prices achieved in the UK.

I did see that car in the pen and to be honest it looked all wrong. It had Alpina wheels that could have been reps and I thought the stance was incorrect - too high at the back and too low at the front. May be it was the lighting but the paint work didn't look brilliant either. I saw it from about 25 feet away as I was too tight to pay the fee to get a closer look \:D/

Also, assuming a trader bought it, then I would expect it be on a forecourt near us some time soon for at least £12995 if not more.

Mine has 9 previous owners, and I have spent a fortune on it recently. It still needs a smaller fortune spending on it

I was thinking of selling mine this summer, if it's worth less than 10K I simply won't bother! haven't seen non M's going for decent prices just yet which is a shame..
