Two manual 635's

Post by randall977 »

Both on eBay UK - interesting manual models - nothing to do with me but a good guide to current values...

I dare say the rolling road figure is a typo. 190bhp at the wheels sounds a bit more likely.

I also had a bit of an epiphany regarding how boring I am: I found myself wondering if the owner of the highline had noticed how difficult his door was to shut ( buffer missing off latch). I didn’t share this observation with my wife!

A 24-year-old printout! I made the mistake of buying an E24 some years ago on the basis of an old dyno sheet. Of course, once I got it home and had a good look at it, I realised that all the “enhancements” had been removed some time before and all I had was a lowered, but bog-standard coupe with a cracked sump🙁. I ended up breaking it for parts.

Unless this particular vehicle can be driven (and dyno-ed again), I would take the claims with a pinch of salt. Caveat Emptor😉

Another dealer chancing its arm?

The one that sold on eBay for £8500 is now up at Motodrome for £14,995. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C987231
