Not sure if this is allowed as its not a 6, so please delete if not applicable.
1981 e12 M535 with dogleg and LSD for restoration/recommissioning
5x correct mahle wheels with the car
Been dry stored a number a years - was driven into storage so should be good mechanically, but I havnt attempted to start as the fuel smells stale so would want to drain it beforehand.
Replacement front wings, front doors and bonnet were sourced as the original ones had rust issues - hence multi coloured panels, the front passenger door on at the moment is an e28 door but a good e12 door is with the car.
Front of driver and passenger footwells/sills need attention due to rust but nothing too scary.
Interior is there but untidy, one blue seat, the rest are black, headlining a bit manky. Dash is good.
Various trims and handles are with the car.
New fuel lines were fitted before it went into storage, and tank was cleaned and painted.
All in all a good basis for putting back to its former glory - it is not a total rot box, so well worth doing. A change in my circumstances is forcing me into this unfortunately.
£6000

Thankyou, and yes, it is a cool car! Engine should be good, I was told by a very well respected and trusted e12 guru that the car was driven into storage, about 10 years ago I think (but id need to check exactly when).zinnocoupe wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 8:15 pm Very cool car. Re: E12 M535i
OK I thought I recognized the multi colored body work as being Tonys car. I was going to mention that but i figured it would just bring up unanswerable questions. sixtwoeight , I would suggest posting this on FirstFives.com. Its a little quiet on that forum but you may get some interest. Or if you want I could post a link?
