I'd buy it. You can be sure, however, that it's LOT rustier than what shows.

Trans is worth the price of the car, 265 getrag.

It should be but it becomes questionable when you read the ad. Verify that it is a 265 and you've got an excellent donor. There is much MUCH MORE rust under all that. The car is terminal but it may have some very valuable parts. The car is, like mine, the redheaded stepchild that is a mixture of e12 chassis and e28 engine management. It could have a sideloader LSD that would be worth more than the transmission.

I would buy it if I knew the trans was good. Good Luck
