1988 E24 635 CSi A $3500

Post by Fatcat28 »

Fresh Silver Bronzit paint 4 years ago
Head recently removed and refreshed:
Installed new:
Cam (stock grind), Rocker arms (complete set), Valve seals and gaskets, Head gasket, Chain tensioner, Radiator, Radiator fan and clutch, Fan belts, new chain cover gasket, new water pump

Head, valve cover, exhaust manifold, intake manifold painted

New tail-light lens and chrome nacelle assemblies $$$

New Kumho 16” 225/50’s less than 5K miles
factory matched set American Racing 16” wheels taken from 1987 535is

Suspension: SLS system professionally removed (reservoir intact), new Boge gas shocks, new shock mounts, new Lemforder upper and lower control arms, center link, idler arm, tie-rods, new rear suspension Pitman arms (dog bones)

Interior: This car has the L6 interior option which was available in 1988. Back seats are excellent, driver seat showing some wear but otherwise good, front passenger seat very good- interior door panels need refurbishing, -dash board has small crack close to windshield, the crack is 2-3 inches, straight not ragged edged. Otherwise dash is in very good shape. Steering wheel needs to be re-wrapped, Headliner is excellent. New Pioneer Blue-tooth stereo head.
A/C: Works fine but needs to be serviced and recharged

Odometer: 113XXX miles indicated. Odometer gear broke 11-22-16. Actual mileage estimated at 120-125K

Automatic Transmission: replaced under warranty by original owner at 60K miles- shifts crisply no leaks

Brakes: brake bomb needs to be replaced but brakes work fine. ABS indicator lamp is on.

Trunk: detailed with all original tools in kit

Exterior: Shark nose damaged in minor fender bender. (SUV backed into me) Repair and Paint estimate $2350. The rest of the exterior is very nice.

The car has not been driven in 1.5 years. It has been stored in a garage with a car cover on it. This is a beautiful driveable project car that is 80% complete. The price is firm and takes into account the minor body damage.
