Heres what I thought was an interesting car. I did some searching and came up with nothing on this model. I looked at a few Alpina registries. Seems like its a fake?
Maybe the Alpina experts can shed some light

Early Alpina's such as this are really quite hard to verify. I would suggest the only real way is to note down the BMW chassis number and Plaque number of the car in question and then e-mail Buchloe to politely ask whether they think it matches their records.

IIRC B2's were made from E9, E12, E23, and E24 cars and were a 240bhp version of the 3.2 M30 engine.

I messaged the seller of this car and he claims to have all kinds of proof its a real Alpina. He was going to email me with it. Now the cars been pulled from ebay without anyone buying it. Mmmmm

Holy crap! I had a message from the seller that it had sold but not the price. Crazy after not selling for 15K on ebay. hffvdbl, thx for the info. Do you know any other details?

sharkfan, Seems weird that Alpina wouldn't have any of these cars listed in any of the registry's. Also wouldn't a 630cs have the m30b30 engine as opposed to the b32?

I guess I'll do some more searching on the net.

I just found this which is a little short on details:
