Amazing E24 prices SEEM to be achieved on ebay UK

Post by Pod »

This one recently "sold" for £5,000. Apparently it "may" have been a Motorsport :-k

21 bidders and 38 bids, so even if there was an element of shill bidding, surely some of them must have been genuine?

For a "hedge find"? For restoration. Really

Ha, I notice this time they didn't include a pic of the engine like they did the last time they listed it: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/hedge-find-b ... 1438.l2649 Edit: Looks like the car was an extra in The Evil Dead.

Hedge find is right, what a shame

Yes, surely a Motorsport, says so right on the boot lid #-o

Ah, Pod, sorry, you guys do have very different modules in the UK

But still, isn't it possible that the ///M logo could just be added :-?

Sadly, very common over here in the states [-X

I've even seen an ///M325e :-({|=

Talk about embarrassing :-&

Yep, not uncommon in the UK, my 6 came with one, and it ain't no motorsport, it says ///M CSi on the boot. I just left it cause it's meaningless and until the boot lid is painted there's no point in risking paint damage.

I've even seen someone go as far as fitting the full M3 body kit, exhaust system, seats, interior, wheels, etc, on a bloody 316i E36, stock engine though. Had the M3 badge and everything. If I hadn't heard it running I'd never have known it was fake. But a quick registration check proved my suspicion that it was indeed a 4 pot. 😂

I don't understand.... ](*,)
