UK. Very early 633 FS.

Post by Pod »

Having contacted the owner, I can report that this is VIN #4390016, so a very early car. He has not had it MOD'd on the basis that it is now exempt. I think I would if I was in his position, particularly due to the fact that the last MOT reported significant rust in both the outer and inner sills. I have pointed this out to him.

If it was a manual car and priced much lower, I would be very tempted to go and see it!

It looks lovely but surprisingly, leaves me a little underwhelmed.
It's age and rarity are it's attraction , certainly not it's price .
The RH sill looks to have been overpatched between trailing edge of door and wheel arch ,there looks to be a distinct step in the photo when blown up . The paint in that area also looks like it's been done with an aerosol......

This car was in Classic Cars with mine, looked nice externally but didn't poke around underneath it

I presume that was a deliberate typo, Kos!

Interestingly theres the near twin to that car for sale in Seattle. Now of course it has the big bumpers but it is a manual. I'd maybe be looking at it if I didn't already have too much to deal with
