1985 635 CSI - Manual

Post by 1slow635 »

This example of the 635 CSI classifies as a “survivor”. It shows just over 228,000 miles on the odometer, hinting that the car was driven continually since new. The engine and drive line are in excellent condition with no serious leaks or apparent issues. Original performance numbers boast that this inline six produces an impressive 182 hp and 214 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, this car is not only rare, but very sporty to drive.

The aesthetic condition of this car is its slight downfall, the body if very straight and there is no visible rust anywhere! Unfortunately, the clear coat is failing all over this car. The interior has some tears and cracks but all electronics work.

I am looking to sell for $4,500 OBO. Please no trades.

228K miles
Clean CO title in hand
5-speed manual transmission

Just so you know the US version of the M30B34 produces 136 kW (182 hp) and 290 N⋅m (214 lbf⋅ft). I would be interested because of the Getrag 265 that it probably has, but alas I cannot afford another car.

Thank you for the correction! I do not know much about these cars...is this a good price? I really just want to get rid of it because I have a couple other projects that need my attention...

I think that you are asking a fair enough price. The paint is far from marvelous and that would cost the owner a lot of money to set right but otherwise, it looked like the car is in nice enough shape.
