I find it interesting that your first aid kit has an image of 6 Series on the front. As far as I was aware the same kit was installed on quite a number of different models from around the 80s, but clearly yours is very specific to 6ers.

Right now there are a couple of the type I have in my car ('88 Highline) for sale on Ebay UK which might give you some idea on pricing.

Nice First Aid kit for sale. And I have the correct trunk compartment in excellent condition if someone needs the complete set. $140 plus shipping, which is what I paid for it when purchased off the board about a year ago.
