Three weeks ago I decided to f**k around a bit and bought a virtually new T/C chip, installed it in my well-running car and spent the last 250 miles paying attention while driving the same roads I’ve used for 40 years...
With the new chip, car idles rock steady @800 RPM v.s. 700 rock steady with the old chip;
Old chip car starts warm in ~2sec, new chip ~1sec;
New chip clearly more powerful and smoother @2500-4500 RPM, don’t know about above that;
Old chip more powerful
and smoother @1200-2500 RPM, in 3rd, 4th, and 5th exactly where me and the old girl are happiest.So...For Sale $75 shipped CONUS, in original case with original instructions.
IMPORTANT: For ECU -059 28 pin (the most common setup)
Also works for appropriate E28 and E23, but you knew that...
