BMW Classic center visit

Post by DC »

Hi, yesterday I took Britney(628) to Munchen to visit BMW Welt, Plant and Classic center

it was our first longer ride (500 miles/800km) and without problems which is perfect for 26 year old car.

here are pictures from Classic center - if you have way there I suggest to visit it ;-)

Most BMWs apart from the 6er leave me cold but i'd love one of the M1s in the driveway. Fabulous looking car.

What a great bunch of photos! Thanks for sharing. About half way through the deck there's a blue roadster with front plates M-TC 8869. Do you recall what that was? An 8 variant of some sort? Saw a few shot of an 840. Any sign of the allusive M8 prototype?

BMW Z1 - about 8000 were made

lot of special cars were on display somewhere else, or on some events like Mille Milia - they told us, that best time for visit is winter

Thanks for the great photos =D>
A history lesson for sure :D
IMHO .... more and better looking 6ers on the outside than the inside.

The museum has come along a lot since I saw the temporary exhibit in 2005. The range of cars appears to have expanded considerably. Thanks for sharing your pics.
