Hello Big T,thank you.336bhp 382nm.I can tell you this, the weather must be perfect dry,and the road must be good.to launch the car in first gear without losing traction.especially with the 3.91 diff.my friend have a z3m roadster and he is a car length faster then me,and whe test this every summer.(and that is a very light and fast car)I Always lose a car length, only with colder weather,I have more power and I come closer.strange but ist the truth.I will make a video and post the link.so you can hear the car,and see the race with my friend.

I only wanted to tune the m6 a little more then Original, because I do not want to drive to hard with a collecters item,to much risk.there for am I building on this moment a 635csi with a other m88b36 engine but with a turbo on it.this car will be tuned to the max.

best regards

Sounds like you are doing something similar to Erik with 800 hp 635 !! Awesome stuff man. Its also good to hear you are not going too radical on the M car, sensible move :D

Those figures are very respectable and I would love something like that from my car one day. Ive got a few things to do before I start playing with the engine though. Doesnt matter, its a long term project.

Looking forward to seeing the video mate and it seems your car likes nice dense cold air. Much the same as a top fuel dragster LOL.

Cheers,

Tony

Looks very nice.

Low gearing really wakes up these cars for sure.

Nice other projects going on. You Sound a busy man

Greetings Ruben & Welcome to BCG

I ran across your postings & pics in one of the French forums some time ago. Your e24 looks stunning, great attention to detail, nice color combo & wheel setup.

Do you by chance know Christophe "Sherlock" also in BE??

hello sir

I am sorry,I have no kit for the US M6.
the best you can do,is to look for euro metal bumpers, and then can you place the euro mtechnic bodykit.

great car Ruben. Can you give me some more details on how you built the lip on the front spoiler?

Thanks

this is very simple.
take a mdf wooden plate.
place the front spoiler of the car and place it on the wooden plate.
take a pencil and draw againt the front line of the front spoiler.
the pull the spolier 5cm away of the front pencil line, and draw on the rear inner side of the spoiler.
now you have the same front line of the spoiler on the wooden plate.
with enough place to bolt this to the spoiler.

first saw agaist the pencil line(front and rear)
then you have the dtm lip chape like youre front spoiler
with sandpaper,round the edge off.
then is this piece ready to make a mould.

or much easyer.

paint the wooden piece with gelcoat(for fiberglass)
the wooden mdf plate will absorp this good.
aply 3 lays.
then when hard, grind the outside smooth.use some filler when needed.
the trick is that the wood is good protected againt water(2 sides).you do not want a water damaged piece of wood.

but the best thing is find a fiber glas specialist, pay him to make a mould of youre wooden piece, and make then a piece out of that mould.make it max 2 lays thick.the spoiler lip must break first, not youre spoiler.

when you bolt this to youre spoiler, make the connection very week.
its must be strong enough to drive hard.but when driving against a curb wall the lip must break of first.not destroy youre spoiler.
I have drilled holes in mine, and used pop nails that are a little bit bigger like the drilled hole.when I hit something, the lip will pop of.
and its still strong enough to drive 240 km(I have tested this)

I hope this work for you

Hello Everybody

I want to inform you all that I am starting to rebuild my engine of the m635csi.
after a problem with my hub.it was time to repair it with better parts.
my dream was allways to build a m88b38.anf after finaly finding a crankshaft of a bmw s38b38 I will place that in my engine.
the 3.6 crankshaft will go in my m88 turbo project.I will post a lot of pictures.
the plan is that the m88 now gets 50 mm throttlebodies that are wided inside,I will rebuild a s38b36 head with bigger valves and ported
in and outtakes.12bar compression pistons and a kms ecu.bore of 95 with the 90mm crank.
special part of this engine is the airbox.I have a us airbox of the cat version(bmw m power)logo on it.
whe are going to make a carbon fiber version of it.important is that everything under the hood stays on his place.
but the box will be thicker and larger then original.and with bigger intake holes.

I will keep you informed.

greatings

Beautiful car Ruben!

It's the first time I see those boxes in the door cards. Is that a storage compartment?

Must have missed this post in March.

Sounds an exciting build. The 90mm crank with 12:1 comp and upgraded throttle body / carbon plenum sounds like a good recipie for making some good hp from the m88/3. I’m sure I haven’t forgotten your high lift camshafts to complement the build.

Sounds like Ruben you have your hands full with projects. I certainly know how u feel.

How much would you charge for the full M-tech kit shipped to the US?
