Hi Dave,
Yes, this was today down in the ACT with Ellis and Ben. I spent some money on my car getting it all sorted as I couldn't bear to get rid of it when I came to try and flog it.

There are some brilliant roads around Sydney and they're generally not overly policed but there's almost always traffic, so it was great to get out on the ACT roads today with bugger all traffic and see bits of the ACT I haven't seen in years. And with everything so close too.

Yes Sydney rural windy roads don't have the excess policing.

I'd like to do a trip late august early September. Would be orsome to do the red centre and even sample the unrestricted Stuart hwy north to tenant creek. Perhaps if it was multi state prob a central meeting point at broken hill/ silverton. No hotels just swag and esky.
That would be cool.
