Post by KNude »

Hello everyone,

I uploaded a music video on YouTube last week. It features my 635CSi '88. Check it out: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wZMczrQUn9I

Let me know what you think and if you like it, you can support by sharing the video and/or by joining the band's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/sipriex

Thanks!

The 02 in this video certainly added incentive for me to download this song to my library: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98WtmW-lfeE

no respect for the car and they damaged it and it was struggle trying to get some money out of them

the deal was as follows, they wanted 3 red BMW e30's but when they saw me e24 they wanted it as well.

the drill was meet in south London for 9am and we would be needed for 4 hours. they would give £100 for our time & fuel.

we got there and we all had chat with the video director and one of the artists management

we set some rules which were as follows

we accepted that there would be dancers near the cars. we were OK with the dancers going near the cars and touching them BUT they should not be wearing an sharp/metal jewellery. if they were wearing cloths with zips/studs (jeans) they were not to even attempt to lean on the cars.

with in 60 seconds of the dancers coming out, one decided to try to sit on my bonnet. her soft clothing and the bonnet being covered in wax meant she slid strain off and tried to use the number as foot rest. i went ballistic
one of the others though it was OK to smoke in one of the M3's

the fuckers just thought the cars were props and we had to interrupt the filming several times. The director was cool and he ripped into the dancers and their manager and they had a verbal exchange

in the end they over ran the time agreed and they wanted the cars for a few extra hours. i said no. before i left i went over my car and i saw a nice dent in the roof. i called over the director and the location manager. She tried to dispute it was caused by them. one of the M3's also ended up with a dent.

luckily i had photos date stamped from the day before and i also have a great PDR guy (pointless dent removal)
i billed them £250 for the dent and having the roof professional polished and the were moan about it. The truth was they were lucky that i did not need to get involved with paint work

it took 3 months but i was reimbursed

also we were not even offered a single cup of tea or any refreshments.

the video as you can see was for Tineh Tempa, a massive global artist and he didn't even say thanks for providing the cars.

so such big name and such a he crew for the video they were poorly organised and just shit to deal with

that kind of covers it :D

The only redeeming thing in that video (kos') were the BMWs. The rest of it was crap IMHO.

Thanks 87shark, I appreciate it!

After all that trouble kos, your e24 should have at least had more screen time.
