Back in a shark again
I missed having a shark so I picked up another one today. It's a Euro, 5 speed, 74k mile, very original, white/black, always garaged(hangered actually), and coming to Portland :)

Re: Back in a shark again
Sold by a 74 year old man who has put 3000 miles on it since 2002. He's selling his toys. It's been stored next to his airplane.
Re: Back in a shark again
I hope he maintained it as he maintained the plane (or not!)

Very nice find. The seat heaters are uncommon, and I've never seen the rear spoiler delete option.

Guess we won't see you at any local meets...

WTF, couldn't take CA anymore
Regarding that fine looking example you picked up, there's actually a few odd items that I noted
Not only is the rear spoiler delete rather odd, so is the front valance in place of an air dam, and comfort (or lack thereof ) seats instead of sport seats
Anyhoo, nice to have you back, regardless if you're in Oregon now and not CA

Re: Back in a shark again
I absolutely love the look of these without a rear spoiler. I think we only got the 628 without one.
Lovely car!

It looks very nice , in particular the leather and interior look incredibly well cared for .
Good luck and much enjoyment with it .

Re: Back in a shark again
WOW! Very nice find. The pristine dashboard stands out to me! Plus the clean interior! Euros are the best.
Having said that, I miss the air dam & spoiler. They tend to give it a sporty look w/o the cops really paying att'n.
Also, if interested, Bert Poliakof should have the Euro stripes that go from fr to rr.
Now it looks very nice & stock. With those additions that you can add in time, your sweet Euro will look very snazzy IMHO. But then, who am I?
I'm sure you already know to change ALL the hoses, belts & fluids right away?
Welcome back,,,,Greg
Ps: I love the fact that it's a 5spd too!

Re: Back in a shark again
I have to agree, it looks a little plain without the air dam and spoiler. I kind of like it. The seller has kept maintenance up so I'm risking a road trip from Tulsa to Portland the second week of March.
Leaving California was a tough choice but the whole family moved up here so figured I would give Oregon a try.
The beautiful red M6 I had and sold in the Bay Area took a funny twist. The guy I sold it to over-revved it and changed the engine. He then sold it. A few months ago I saw the same M6 driving right near my house in Portland. The Wilwood brakes were a dead give away. He took it in to the local dealership where my son worked. The new buyer and I talked after that, funny how the car ended up 5 miles from my new home. He's also been advertising it. He has a bad knee and the manual gives him trouble.

I have driven 2000 so far, OKC to Phoenix to Bay AreA so far. The AFM is acting up and getting stuck full rich. Anyone have an 027 they want to part with?
