Very nice but, now shouldn't you find a wooden gearshift knob?

Judging by the size of it, that's just gear shift envy Greg.

That Nardi does look nice. I agree a wooden gearshift would gild that lily.

I think I will need to track down a Nardi for my 2002.

I think it looks fine without the wooden knob.

Looks a tasty old 6. What else is upgraded in it?

The build is orsome, how a OEM++ build should be. All items are maticulusly documented which helps.

The long stick with the improved short shifter is a great way to go, as much more defined gates and less chance of the dreaded miss shift.

Engine looks very healthy, Agree with the heat shield upgrade, and some longer trumpets will give a nice spread of power. Near 300whp is a pretty good effort in an M30 especially one with reasonable road manners. The 044 pump with the rubber mount is it noisey still?

Notice you have a haltech which is same one I have aquired for the forthcoming M635 upgrade, so I can use sequential injection and individual coils. Thinking also of E85 with a flex fuel sensor so I can run big compression and have it occassionally run RON98 with reduced timing etc

Is it just a fun car or does it hit the racetrack.

thanks GAZ!

ive since solid mounted a plate i made to chassis for the shifter, as well as converted my trans mount to the dual bushing like on the later models.. its butter.

the pump i got sorted with a swirl pot and lift pump. (on the site now) http://sidedraftsix.com/swirl-pot-and-new-fuel-pump/
i did get a new 044 also, they tend to make the most noise under duress or when they about to fail.

fun car for now, only about 1000 miles on the motor and this tune..

Adding a chrome metal gate will make it very Ferrari-like.....
