Looks lovely , shark decals don't do it for me but otherwise she's looking very good .
Are they 7 or 8 inch wheels ?

Very nice indeed. Agree with the comment above about the shark decals, they don't work for me either.

Re: Washed, waxed and with new shoes
They look like the E38 style 5 wheels to me which are 16x8. I only know this because I've recently been dealing with a wheel change on my E32 740iL where I was looking to go up to E38 16" wheels of some style to replace the 15x7 stock E32 fitment for which tyres are becoming impossibly difficult to find in any decent quality known brand.olympia57 wrote:Are they 7 or 8 inch wheels ?
Upon looking at the (very limited) range of style choices available for E38's, I decided these style 5's and the style 61's were the only ones I could accept as being aesthetically pleasing to my eye. I opted for the style 61's because they were available for sale locally to me and because they are a 7.1/2" width as opposed to the 8" of the 5's. When needing to run 225 wide tyres, 8" puts the rim edge basically level with the tyre sidewall, which is a look I don't particularly like both for visual appeal and for practicality reasons with regards kerb protection of the wheel metalwork.
Re: Washed, waxed and with new shoes
Yep, they are 8", I'm running on 225/50 R16 Kumho's and I'm very pleased with ride. Since I'm hardly driving any faster than 80mph, the handling and performance is quite OK for me.

Re: Washed, waxed and with new shoes
It's interesting as I am running 7 x 16 et20 style 5's originally fitted to the E39.
The wheel frontage is exactly the same on both wheels, ie depth of lip and contour , and the position they sit in relation to the wheel arch lip is virtually indistinguishable between the two.The 16mm difference after et calculation has no real impact .
I chose the 7 inch wheels over the 8's fearing the latter would rub on the strut ,accepting the down side that they may look "narrower " but there is no visual difference of note.
Something to ponder if you get offered 7 inch items rather than the preferred 8's .

About the stickers, they're made of vinyl and easily removed at will. They don't leave any residue. Once I get tired of them, they're gone
Here a snap shot from the other day at the gas station...which just blew up a few days earlier.
