Found some old pix of the Green Shark

Post by GRNSHRK »

So, I was going through an old SD card from the camera, actually looking for something else, but found this series of photos I took a few years back, actually for the calendar, for those of you who remember when Brian used to do those :-?

These were taken at a former military base in Mountain View called Moffett Field, they've got a few old planes on display like the one in the pix =D>

I was actually storing the 6er there while doing an addition on the house, one of our lurking members works in facilities there, so I had free storage for about 11 months, your tax dollars at work #-o

These shots really show the awesome color of the Cypress Green Beast \:D/

Enjoy

You're right Bobbo, that looks great!

Don't see many pictures of your car, but that's a real stunner, the tough lines, the chrome and cypress green in full sunlight looks awesome. Image

I agree with Mr E, your car looks great.

Throwing stars are funny though, I feel like they shouldn't work on our cars due to the design but they do, really well too.

Gotta Love a Grün e24 Coupe.. Great pics. Just Guessing Pat J was possibly involved in accessing MFA for these, or maybe not.

Thanks gents, really appreciate it, especially you Paul, since I've "heard" from your colleagues that you're a tough one to please =D>

And that's correct Dug, lurker Pat (ONEBADM) was duly responsible for being able to provide me with 11 months of storage (11 months!!!) while we were doing addition number one on thee ole homestead [-o<

I've got a few more shots of while she was in storage, at one point shared with Pat's restored TR6

The cypress really is a great color on these cars. Surprised that there wern't more sold with that color. I agree the throwing stars work well with the car. What springs is it on? It looks low and lean.

Thanks Dave

She's running on Suspension Techniques springs, but the rears are starting to sag a bit :(

I've got a set of B&G springs from Bert, all part of a bigger project that I'll get to "one of these years"
