Amazing what a wax and a new set of wheels can do.
Meet the Bronze Goddess... 89 (11/88 build) 635, 5sp manual. Have owned her for about a year...car was in great shape when I got her and have just been sorting some minor mechanicals out (small exhaust leak, worn thrust arm bushings, brakes) as well as some bolt on improvements. Still need to do a full suspension redo as she’s not as tight on the twisties and I’m getting some minor shakes and wobbles, plus some interior dye work on the front seats, as well as replace the door weather stripping/seals (to much wind noise at speed).

Gorgeous!
Wow, really that's the best I've ever seen of that color on any BMW. Keep it up. My car can't hold a candle to yours for condition, but we both share early '89 build 5-speed cars.
In case you're not aware of the rarity of yours, it's one of 61 5-speed, 1989 model year cars in the US. So there's at least 2 of us on here! There were only 350 or so 1988 model year cars with 5-speeds.
Apologies for reviving an older thread. I've just made my way back to the forum after a long winter.

Love it. The wheels really suit it.
The leatherique dye works well but u need to apply lots of light coats with a small sponge and wipe over with a large sponge.
Airbrushing apparently works good with the due also. I may get hold of an airbrush kit to do the new seats in the e34
