Hi everyone, I thought I would try to send some photos of my restored car.
The registration number is quite trick, it is the original one supplied by the selling dealer.
The car was resprayed in original Royal Blue Metallic, sitting on TRX wheels.
The pic. of the front hub shows the level of work carried out underneath.
I did also take a lot of pics during restoration showing before and after if anyone is interested!
cheers, Nigel.

Nigel your 6 is amazing!! the colour on the body is simply spectacular, and the detail on the calipers is posh! I still don't know what it is about BMW's TRX 1 rims. I just find them very sexy, it's kinda like Betty Page or Marilyn Monroe, classy yet sexy in a retro kinda way.

Jono,
"Betty Page" Now that is an obscure reference! You can find her interesting obit in the New York Times.

As to the car, in addition to pics, if you've interesting resto tidbits (parts, processes or vendors) that is helpful to those of us going down that long road.

Resto-porn is as good as it gets.
+1 to Ken K.

Congrats Nigel, awesome condition, certainly very eager to see more pics, especially about the restoration process. Pls share a gallery if you have one.

IMO, in the general the TRXs are very special, engineering beauties. Emblem of an Era 8)

How did you prep the brake discs and calipers to withstand the heat? And what paint did you use?
