Hi All,

Wanted to share some photos of my 1985 635csi, I've owned the car for over 20 years, still only covered just over 74,000 miles, completely original in every way possible.....

I agree, very nice indeed.

I know this is being very picky indeed, but your headlight wipers should ideally be "parked" at the very top of the lens. I realise it's a real faff to alter the position, but it is possible. Do the wipers still work?

Also, are the HT leads and caps OE or replacement?

Hi Phil,

Yes, the wipers still work, I replaced the arms and blades last summer and never did 'park' them back in the correct position, I will rectify :-)

Everything on the car is OE, the cap and rotor were replaced about 12 years ago, the HT leads were replaced 2 years ago, all OE parts direct from BMW.

Smithy,

Thank you so much for sharing, awesome car and the plus is 20 years of ownership.
I know what long term commitment is, I'm going on 33 years with my 86.

What a wonderful looking car (the e24, I mean. Not those new things! ) Congratulations on being such a fine custodian for so long, and thanks for sharing the photos. Safe travels!

Great car, nice shots =D> ! Interesting to see how the classic look ( \:D/ ) meets the modern era.
