Just put some bigass spacers behind them Paul #-o

Seriously, that is odd :-k

As you are aware, I don't have style 5's, but about a million others do, and without this issue

Have you tried a bigger hammer \:D/

Sorry, Friday afternoon, bored at work, and about to hang it up, go home, and crack a cold one

The match mark is lined up in the second pic, not in the first.

No the marks are lined up.
,double checked it again today.
They go on but not snap in place and cannot b pushed down any further.im afraid they may go flying off on a hard corner.
I'm going to try tomorrow to dent the caps back a bit n see what happens.
Noticed on realoem that e39s don't have a cap at all. And most all other chassis share the same cap as the e24. So no switching around caps.
Will report back.

It has got to be bearing cap.
Everything looks as it should as far as I can tell :-k
Rear has No caps so no issue .
What are my options ?
Opinions ?
I'm going to pull the wheel n remove dome bearing cap n reinstall n see what happens.

Also noticed the OE one installed in pic above is different from one now available.
Real OEM shows a discontinued part which looks like the one I have. Newer style might be the trick is it is more like a hat n not a pancake. We shall see.
Going to look n see what on the 84 euro if not I'll order a pair n c what happens.

If the part nos. on the caps and wheels match respectively then I think that the cap is the problem.
Good luck.
