As the title states, I'd like to definitively disable the ABS on my e24.
Pulling the light from the dash did not work.
When I apply medium pressure on the brake pedal (like coming up to a stop sign) I get some vibrating feedback from the pedal and that "crunchy" ABS sound. It happens occasionally on perfectly dry surface when there is absolutely no need for ABS.
Based on my research here, I pulled the ABS warning light from the instrument cluster, but that did not seem to have any affect.
Is there a fuse or relay that is responsible for ABS that I can try next? Could this issue be caused by something other than ABS?
I don't particularly like these early-gen ABS systems and would prefer to just drive without it.
Thank you

How about just unplugging the ABS module?
