BBS RC 009 UK

Post by wattsmonkey »

Hey chaps,

Have a bee in my bonnet about wanting a square set of rims to go on the M: I love the look of the RC010s on the back, but they don't do the ride and (subjective, I know) feel any favours at all.

Ron has very kindly helped me out with one that I'm trying to get straightened, but that does leave me one short!

Would consider buying a full set of RC009/010.

To avoid confusion, I am talking about the 17" split rims fitted to the E31 8series, specifically the ET11 fronts.

Posted more in hope than expectation, but keeping fingers crossed!

Thank you,

Rob

I have a 009/010 set stashed away Rob. Not in any great panic to sell, but could be persuaded if you can't find the front pair you're looking for.

Well, I'm now up to three RC009s and one that is too bent to use, which will be returned to its rightful (and very generous) owner to resume ornament duties!

Need just one RC009!

Thanks,

Rob

Thanks Brucey,

Have made the chap an offer, but he's of the no reply school of negotiation. The centre is really rough on this one, or I'd consider it.

mad thought; is it possible to fit new bells (rim parts) onto the odd damaged one you have/had?

Dunno if these would fit...?

I thought the same sort of thing Brucey, but unfortunately the actual centre is buckled as well as the rim! That's some kerbing!

The one I just got delivered from the US is absolutely perfect and came in at around £250 including postage and (grrr) customs charges, so maybe I'll get lucky with something else from overseas.

Thanks though,
