Does need some rust repair by the look of it. Am I right in saying that it's not a true original Alpina or is there no such thing - were they all conversions?

they'd take a stock 635csi, en engine would be shipped over from germany, that would be fitted along with suspension & spoilers etc

Engines were not shipped from Germany. The existing engines were modified to the Alpina specification at Sytner Nottingham.kos wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 1:41 amall converted for the UK marketrandall977 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 9:44 pm Does need some rust repair by the look of it. Mark Adkins, one of the Sytner engineers who used to be part of the team who modified the cars, did a presentation a couple of years ago at an Alpina meet there.
