Euro Spec 635CSi for Sale...someone else's turn.

Post by Sechserreihe »

Picked this up the other week from a fellow forum member. Rare Euro spec 635CSi with decent parts still on it. Former Arizona Car...have paperwork. Engine, trans, diff, brakes all spoken for. Although the car came from out West, there is a little bit of rust here and there. Nothing serious at all. 90% of these old E12s are completely rusted and hopeless basket cases. Not this one. Good bones for a restoration of a great looking Euro spec car without the big bumpers, cut-outs in the fenders and quarters. Has early rear bumper and rubber deck lid spoiler. Taillight chrome bezels aren't perfect but in good shape. Front bumper valance has had non factory fog lights attached. Chrome and rubber are missing as well. Headliner is in decent shape...no rips or tears.

A couple of holes in the car. One in the driver side corner where floor meets firewall. One small hole in spare tire well and I'm sure some to be found here and there as well. A good contender for a resto in my opinion. I have worked on a lot worse.

I'm in the process of pulling the M90 engine. That's why I purchased the car in the first place. It's a runner. 127k miles. I'm planning on hanging on to the engine as a spare for my Euro 635CSi but I may be talked out of it if someone really wants it. I suppose I could leave it in the car and you could send a shipper out for the whole thing.

Asking $650 for the roller with everything you see in the pix WITHOUT the engine. Car has a clear Ohio title. Please send PM or call.

Tough that this is on the other side of the country for me. This car is nearly identical to my Henna euro, would love to buy the shell almost as reassurance if anything ever happened to my own car.

Let me know if you end up parting out panels, etc.

Ok. I will most likely take off both front fenders, hood and trunk lid if it doesn't sell. Junkyard will get the shell. It would be a damn shame.

Bummer, too far away for me too! Would be a great swap and I'd save the money in repainting my 6er

Hi,
Yes, the complete shell is still available. I still haven't removed the M90 engine. I've only removed the driver side fender (still have it), front and rear bumpers.

Here is what's left:

Complete roller with Euro tank, fenders, doors, pedal box, exhaust (it has been butchered...it's not the complete 50mm pipe system but has US spec 42mm resonator and muffler welded in place). Complete M90 engine along with everything under the hood, clutch, flywheel.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi all,

Sold the engine and the exhaust the other day. The only thing left is the Euro gas tank and the early fenders.

Tanks $180

Fenders $100 ea.

Thanks,

Mark

I'm interested in the rear bumper with the rubber end caps. How much? Are the bumper to body brackets available?
