WTB - front hub for use to make a hose reel

Post by GRNSHRK »

Hey guys,

I've still got a stack of old 14" 20-spoke wheels and thinking about making a hose reel outa one of them, I kid you not #-o

But since I want it to turn so that can easily spin it to wrap up the garden hose, I think I'll need a front hub :-k

Not sure how I'm gonna mount it or anything, guess just entertaining ideas at this point

But if anybody has one kicking around, the bearings can even be shot for the most part I guess, I'd like to hear from you [-o<

Maybe I need a pick, or should look on realoem so that I can figure out how I'm gonna mount it, or if this will work at all :-({|=

TIA

Whatcha need is a trashed strut. Than you can cut it where needed and weld it/get it welded to a plate you can bolt to a wall . Bobbo, where is all that engineering talent??
