Loose Drivers Side Arm Rest/Door Handle

Post by Bostn635csi »

Can anyone suggest a fix for a very loose drivers side arm rest/door handle. I believe the clips that attach are no longer doing their job....

Is your sixer later in years like 88-89? If so, it may have popped out. The arm rest has one metal clip closer toward the door and closer to the handle (upper) where the mirror switches are located, there are 2 screws inside. You will need to pop out the mirror switch carefully then undo the 2 screws before lining up the clip. Good luck.
