Memory seats not working and loose

Post by Talv55 »

Hi all,
So I am recently a new owner of a 635csi :D
However there is an issue! Both front seats are rocking. It's not the seat loose to the chassis but the frame inside the seat by all accounts as it tilts when I unlatch them forward for access to the rear seats.
All the electrics work on the passenger side but not on the drive side (or the memory).

Any ideas, support or who you would recommend that can look at this for me would be amazing!

Not sure on the loss of memory functions but when I bought my 635 I too had rocking seats. Turned out the screw that held the back in place had fallen out of both drivers and passenger side. Just remove the plastic covers on both sides of each seat and make sure everything is in place and tight.

Loose or missing screws seem to afflict a few functions in these cars.

Hi, I had the exact same thing, electric seat did not work anymore, memory didn't work as well.
Took out the seat and found the connector of the control PCB to be loose.
Plugged it in and worked fully again.
