In the middle is not a viable answer. There are 2 different type chassis your E24 can gave, E12 or E28. If you don't know the difference, try telling us what year car you have. That will resolve the problem. If a post 83 car it is an E28 chassis. A fellow on the MYE28 forum has a full and new adjustable Spax suspension package for sale for $600 which is a good buy

hhhm, RealOem lists the whole 1975-1989 run as an E24s and I do not see any E12 or E28 listings. Since I don't know the difference I had altered my ask title before your post to include 635. It's an 86 if there is a difference between 635s.
The Spax sound like a good buy but I have sourced a good deal on new Bilsteins so just looking for springs at the moment.

I have a 2nd set of Vogtland springs I bought thinking
that they needed to be replaced. I changed the fronts
but still had a problem. Wound up being the bracket
on the front sway bar.

So I have a pair of fronts used 5 yrs old, 3100 miles.
Rears are brand new. I'll load photos later when I get
to photo them. I'll take $140 shipped.

Great buy!!
All six series are E24s There is a differentiation in the chassis design between the pre 83 and post 83 cars thus the questions you are getting of E12 or E28?. Your car is an E28 chassis design although it is an e24 model car.
