85 Euro 635csi

Post by hpxxhan »

Hey Folks, I just picked up a euro 635csi yesterday and I'm loving it. I've been around older mercs, mainly 80s-90s ones, all my life and this is my first older BMW and I've loving it. Here are a couple of shots from the dealer since I haven't got a chance to take more pics of my own. The car is in such and incredible shape and I want to thank whoever owned it before me.

I just peaked under the wheel wells this morning and it's factory fresh.. not a single trace of dirt or wear or damage.. i'll take some pics later on. Hope you guys like it.

Looks great. Dealer di d great job on detailing it!
Mileage?
Always wondered how dealers get to these before enthusiasts. I'm sure owner could of gotten more for it than dealer gave him as trade in,probably looking at that showroom .
Same for all the low mileage e24scoming up on BAT.

bring it up to Tahoe for PSF n introduce it n yourself to rest of Bay Area e24 crowd.

Thanks gents. I'll try and make it to sharkfest. This car was a consignment but I also wonder how these dealers always get their hands on such clean cars before the enthusiasts. The dealer did a great job preparing and presenting the car for sure. I wasn't planning on buying it when I went there but i just couldn't pass it on. The car has ~136k miles as of now.

Here's a short walkaround vid:

And here are some short vids inside the wheel wells. Even if the dealer cleaned it up nicely the condition it's in is fascinating. I'm not trying to show-off or anything but I just haven't seen a car of this vintage in this good of a condition. I am just overly excited and want to share with those who would appreciate. She's definitely a keeper.

Floor mats r hard to come by didn't c any on your floors.
FYI e39 mats r a pretty close fit. 95% n much easier to find.
Like the rear marker lights in the bumper instead of body like most.
My 84 euro antenna is in front left

If your unfamiliar with e24 chassis you will get a wealth of information from owners at PSF if u can make it up.

I am learning about the mats the hard way.. I just ordered black mats from coverking for now and i’ll Try and get some e39s like u suggested. Thanks for the tip! I’m definitely learning a lot from this board and hope I can make it to sharkfest as well.

Beautiful car, hpxxhan!

I have a set of "like new" original floormats (passenger and rear, missing the driver's side) for sale from my 1985 635CSi Euro if you are interested.
