Yes , bolt straight in .
I have fitted plates to allow my drivers seat to sit a further two inches rearwards to accomodate my 6' 4" frame but the standard bolt holes align.

Depends on how old the car is. The seats will fit but you may need to change the mounting frames.

My '79 633 had a "stepped floor" and needed totally different seat mounting frames to fit.

Not sure when they changed the floor structure to a "flat floor."

Can't find any pics to show you.
They are ALWAYS rustier than you thought!!!!!!

Thanks - I'm getting similar info on an E24 FB group. I don't think they'd go on my '79. Was asking because there's a beautiful pair of manual sports from an M6 for sale. Oh well . . . :(

Check your floor before you give up on the seats!

I'm anxious to ensure that I have given the correct answer to the OP's question and that if there is a difference between year models then I clarify what mine looks like .
My car is a Oct '81 build / registered.
The floor has two seperate internal cross members welded to tha actual floor . These X members each have two mounting captive nuts welded to the innards and these are used to attach the seat bracket bolts.
On my car these align perfectly with the OE seat frame runners on OE sports seats from a 1984 S2 car .
The two X members .

EDIT
Surely It would be simple enough to measure the pitch between the holes front to rear and side to side on your original in car seats and quickly establish if these are level or stepped F to R and then compare those dimensions with the proposed new seats . I would suspect that the M6 seats for sale will be the same as all post '82 sports seats and therefor the four mounts will be on the same plane .( as in level  )
It's not a difficult thing to ascertain ...

I seem to remember that the "stepped floor" seat frames use 6 bolts to hold them to the floor.
