Factory Workshop Manual
Here is a downloadable Factory Workshop Manual, courtesy of DaHose. Thanks DaHose!
It is a 312.5 MB PDF file, and covers the U.S. Spec 633CSi / 635CSi from '83 on, including the M6. It is a decent scan of an original paper manual so the photos are fairly decent, if a little light sometimes:

At the top of the download page, next to the heading "MegaUpload", there is a code displayed, that you need to enter into the box next to it, in order to gain access to the download button. The code is Case Sensitive, i.e. if the Letters are in caps, enter it in caps.
The PDF has book marks for each of the major Sections to help navigate the file. There is one little tiny, slight problem, it seems to be missing Section 33 - Rear Axle, but hey, you still can't beat the price! (If someone finds it out of order in the file, post a notice here).

Factory Specification Book
The Factory Manuals do not include wiring diagrams (ETM's), Torque Values or Settings and Adjustment Specifications. The Manual constantly refers to these specifications, but omits them from the Manual. Instead, they are included in a separate Specifications Book that includes the Specs. for ALL BMW Models, which makes it as important and necessary as the Workshop Manual. Again DaHose to the rescue, he has a download of that also (116 MB, PDF):

This book is jam packed with info, and besides Torque Values, includes about every spec. you can think of for 3/5/6/7 Series Cars (including M cars) from the mid '80's, so don't let the file name fool you! Unfortunately, but there are no bookmarks to help find your way around it. Spend some time scrolling through it just to see what is there.
